There are three known issues that can cause problems when trying to add an iOS device to Kidslox:
1. There is a greyed out profile in the list of 'Devices’.
Open our app on the target device and check the list of 'Devices'. If in the List you see the greyed out profile of the device which you are now installing, then you need to remove it from the list. To remove a device from the list of 'Devices’ on the iOS platform you need to swipe the device to the left part of the screen and tap on the ‘Trash’ button. After that, try installing the app again.
2. Device already having an MDM profile installed
If you have an education or business MDM profile already set up on the device you will not also be able add Kidslox without first removing the original MDM profile. To remove the original MDM profile on iOS:
• Open the main iPhone/iPad 'Settings' app
• Select General
• Scroll down the page and select Device Management
• Select (name of the existing profile) and select 'Remove Management'
• You will need to enter your passcode and the device management profile will be removed .
• After that, try installing the app again.
3. Device already having Kidslox MDM profile installed
• Open the main iPhone/iPad 'Settings' app
• Select General
• Scroll down the page and select Device Management
•Check if Kidslox is there (the name of Kidslox MDM profile is KPC). If so, remove it and set up the Kidslox MDM again
