ISSUES
1. I'm unable to open advanced.kidslox.com. How do I fix this?
Please try to open the page (advanced.kidslox.com) in another browser (e.g. Chrome, Opera, Mozilla Firefox, Safari) or in incognito mode.
For Windows use this combination of buttons - ctrl+shift+n.
For Mac, open Safari> choose File > New Private Window
This should solve the issue.
2. I cannot find the Kidslox file on Windows.
On Windows, by default the self-extracting zip file with Kidslox that you download from advanced.kidslox.com extracts its files to the Download folder on your computer C:\Users\your name \Downloads. The corresponding folder has the name Kidslox-win32-x64. You can search it on your C drive. Once found click the Kidslox icon to start the app.
You can extract the archive once again to the folder that you like. Open the Kidslox archive again and specify the destination folder.
3. I can't open the Kidslox file.
Try to temporarily disable antivirus, desktop firewall or any additional security settings on your desktop device. After opening the file, you can enable the antivirus back.
4. Do I need iTunes installed?
Yes. Download iTunes for your desktop device from here https://support.apple.com/downloads/itunes
5. I connected the iPhone/iPad, but the desktop does not see it.
Make sure you plug the cord directly to the computer without using an adapter. Try a different USB port on the desktop device or a different USB cable.
