What is screen time?

This article explains what Screen Time is in Kidslox. It describes how the app tracks the amount of time a child spends using a device each day without applying restrictions.

 

 

When you open Kidslox and choose your child's device, on the home tab you will see your child's Screen time. Screen time is the time used by your child when the device is in Child and Parent mode.

Don't confuse it with the Daily limits time (time is counted only when the device is in Child mode). 

If you want to set some limits on your child's device, you need to use the Daily limits feature. Screen time won't block the device, it will just show you the time your child has been using the device.

Screen time will help you to see how much time your child is using the device each day (even if your child doesn't use up the entire daily limit time or if you grant more time).
