This article explains how to grant device access for a specific amount of time per day using Kidslox. It describes the Daily Limits and Schedule features and how they can be used to control when and how long a child can use their device.
There are 2 ways you can do this using Kidslox:
1. Using our Daily Limits function you can set a maximum amount of time that your child can use their device for a day. Once the limit is reached, the device goes into Lock mode.
If your kids use Android devices you can even set time limits on the use of individual apps and categories, e.g. 4 hours of device use a day, but only 1 hour playing games.
2. Use our Schedule function to set specific hours of the day a device can be used or not used.
You could even use these two functions in combination, e.g. allow 4 hours of device use a day but schedule times when the device is completely off limits at dinner time and bedtime.
