Location is incorrect (Android)

This article explains what to check if the location shown in Kidslox is incorrect on an Android device. It describes how location services, Google location accuracy, and battery saving settings can affect location tracking accuracy.

 

 

Turn on location services on the device:

Settings > Google > Location > make sure the permission is given.

Make sure the switch next to “Use Location” is ON.

Find "Google Location Accuracy" - switch the toggle.

Make sure that the "Battery saving mode" is off as it may override the Location settings. Settings > Battery > Battery Saver (it can be slightly different depending on the Android version and mobile device model).
