Location doesn't update

This article explains what to check if a child’s location is not updating in Kidslox. It describes the required device mode and the location permissions that must be enabled for the app to update location data correctly.

First of all, you need to make sure that the device is in Child or Parent mode (the location tracking feature doesn't work when the device is in Lock mode). 

If the problem remains, please take your child's device and make sure that location is enabled on the device itself and Kidslox has all the permissions:

iOS: Go to Settings > search > Kidslox > location should be set to Always Allow.

Android: Go to Settings > search > Kidslox > location tracking permission should be enabled.
